Note: Completion of this course may count towards continuing education hours. This course has been approved for the 2024-2026 two-hour mandatory fair housing topic. The remaining course hours count as CE elective credit.
This course provides 45 hours of instruction in real estate finance topics relevant to Pennsylvania real estate broker license applicants. Topics include sources of mortgage funds, government influences on the financial market, the anatomy of finance instruments, loan types, the mortgage lending process, and defaults and foreclosures.
This course provides 30 hours of instruction in real estate investment relevant to Pennsylvania real estate broker license applicants. The course covers the fundamentals of investing in the real estate market, the pros and cons of real estate investing, forms of ownership, analysis and feasibility studies, tax laws affecting real estate investments, and financing options available to investors. The course also examines real estate investment by property types: residential, commercial, industrial, and other opportunities.
This 30-hour course for Pennsylvania broker license applicants takes students through the sales transaction cycle. As we take you from prospecting to negotiating to closing (and all the steps in between), we’ll also review federal and Pennsylvania laws that may affect the transaction.
